Unity theme begins a team,
Working to build team's esteem.
Together working on sports team,
redeem the victory scheme.

Bowling is rolling a ball,
between two gullies down an alley.
slight curve of the ball,
ten pins down, strikes a tally.

The ball is kicked, around the field,
or butted, with ones head.
When in play, the hands stay free,
except for goalie, in the cage

There's a sport for everyone,
There's a sport for everyone-
Baseball, soccer, basketball;
Sports are so much fun!

The bumps, bruises, and broken bones
The blood that pours from open wounds
The stitches needed to mend the cuts
All of this can become too much
The death-defying leaps of faith

Raise the door or just take off the cover,
there she sits just waiting for us to hover.

Our first glance we know she waits,
just as our mind anticipates.

Basketball's my favorite sport.
I dribble up and down the court.
The ball goes bouncing off my toes
and beans the teacher on the nose.
He stumbles back and grabs his nose
and hits the wall and down he goes.
The other players stop and stare.
They've never heard the teacher swear.
With no one playing anymore.
I grab the ball. I shoot. I score.
I love this game! It's so much fun.
The teacher cried, but, hey--we won.

But all I ever caught were things
I didn't want at all.

on fine-grain sand
slips out of jeans
wears black bikini
label worn outside
pulls on black wetsuit pant
covers thighs to above knees
winter in Currumbin
and surf is cold.

My dog is running faster
than he's ever run before
in a supersonic circle
in the middle of the floor.

The pitch war rages It's kick off time
The cloth cap Kings begin to sing
Weather worn faces chant in line
Cursing and urging the team to win
But behind closed doors
There's so much more.

Hot air ballooning might not be a proper sport
but it's fun,it's relaxing,and it's really
quite dangerous. Or should that be pointless?

If you think you dare not, you don't!
If you like to win, but think you can't
It's almost a cinch you won't.
